Home on the Range

We may not live “on the range” but we are certainly surrounded by it!

Constantia/Tokia is tucked up to the base of Silvermine mountain and virtually surrounded on three sides by others. It feels like we are sheltered away in a green valley that empties out into the bay ...False Bay I believe. The Estate we live in is very green (especially considering the drought ) which is in the large part due to the use of grey water to maintain it.

The views are stunning everywhere I look ....the vineyards , the golf course , the mountains or on a clear day I can see the ocean. I feel so blessed to be able to spend a year here. 

We feel very safe, in fact the girls cant understand what all the hype is about. Good thing/Bad thing!

I drove around the estate today and its exhausting trying to give all your attention to every detail of driving. I have renewed compassion for new drivers! I am motivated however, to get out and explore all this wonderful place has to offer.
